The "Honest View" Award opens doors of the Mediaschool for young foreign journalists in Moscow
The IV International competition of information projects for foreign media "Honest View" invites young foreign journalists to participate in the Mediaschool– an international educational project for media professionals. Thirty of the most active participants will have the opportunity to come to Moscow.
Who can become a participant? Listeners of the Mediaschoolcan be novice journalists and students of journalism faculties aged 18 to 25. To participate, you need to submit an application in the special nomination – "Best material of young journalists about the Russian Federation" on the official website of the "Honest View" Media Award: https://honest-view.press/application2025.
What does the program include? The Mediaschoolwill take place in Moscow in the fall, prior to the award ceremony for the winners and finalists of the "Honest View" competition. In addition to a city tour of Moscow, young participants will enjoy lectures, master classes, and training sessions from Russian and foreign experts on international issues, global challenges, and mastering modern formats and technologies of mass communication in the context of covering international humanitarian projects.

The media school is more than just education. Over the past four years, it has become an international platform where a professional community is formed, facilitating the exchange of information and strengthening international communication among journalists from around the world.

The organizing committee covers the expenses related to the participation of journalists and bloggers in the Mediaschoolevents and the award ceremony of the "Honest View" Media Award, including airfare/train travel, internal transfers and transportation, accommodation, and meals in Moscow. Currently, applications for the Media Award have been received from 20 countries: Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Belarus, Vietnam, Georgia, Zambia, India, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Nepal, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Finland, France, Ecuador, and South Africa.

Reference Information
The organizer of the award and Mediaschool is the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo). The operator of the competition and Mediaschool is the Communication Agency AGT, one of the leaders in the communication industry in Russia and the CIS countries.
The competition accepts printed and online publications, photographs, video materials, radio programs, and social media posts dedicated to international projects involving Russia in the fields of culture, education, economy, and humanitarian interaction. Materials must be published between September 26, 2024, and October 1, 2025.
To participate in the competition, you need to submit an application on the official website of the Media Award: https://honest-view.press . Foreign journalists and bloggers are eligible to participate. There are no restrictions on the number of applications submitted.
